Hair, Hair is everywhere. We have been trying to figure out how to remove it!

There are many forms of hair removal, in this article we will only cover a few of them.

Waxing: The most popular, There are two types of wax soft and hard.It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for the hair to grow back. Pain is often associated with waxing.

Sugaring: Is similar to waxing, the difference is that sugar paste is applied by hand.

Threading: most used for face but it can be use for body hair removal too. To thread, one uses a cotton or polyester thread, doubling it so it shape an "X" , grabbing the hair at the root.

Electrolysis: Is the only permanent form of Laser Hair Removal, to get the best results and less risks of scaring the treatment should be performed by an experienced electrologist, followed by an after care protocol. For this procedure a small needle is inserted in the hair follicle to conduct a short wave of electric current. It usually requires a series of 8 to 12 treatments. Electrolysis can't be performed on people with pacemakers or heart problems, for more contraindications consult a certified electrologist.

Laser Hair Removal: Laser is a semi-permanent hair removal method, people usually reach a 80 to 90% off hair reduction and the hair that is left is usually thinner and less noticeable.

Laser is not effective in light or gray hair, laser light targets the color of the hair to destroy the hair follicle without damaging surrounding tissue.

The number of treatments required depends upon your skin ,hair coloring, coarseness of the hair, density per area treated, hair growth cycles and hormonal state.

To prepare for this treatment is important to follow the before and after care procedures.
